Mobile App • Notifications broken

I have a forum which I follow and I was notified on the subscribed topics up until a week or so ago, when the app stopped giving notifications. I checked in the notifications settings, and nothing changed in there, as well as system settings to see if Android blocked the notifications for whatever reason (it didn't). Can someone help to see if I need to check with the owner of the forum or if it is a problem on my side? I also tried reinstalling the app, no luck...
